There are many people who believe that their beliefs alter the nature of reality. They're right. About ten stories after the chemicals they ingested enabled them to believe they could fly, the nature of their bodies and of the pavement they meet is altered quite emphatically.

Nations are not "crippled by poverty;" they are crippled INTO poverty by tyrannical governments. Take stock of the poorest 50 countries in the world. Then take stock of the 50 most tyrannical and most socialist governments. You'll be amazed at the parallels.

Why is it that the majority of dissertations on poverty spend almost no time on what poor people can do to improve their lot in life, and almost all the time claiming how poverty is the fault of those that rose above it?
